When people say soap isn’t art… I respectfully must disagree. I bring you “Poe-Pourri,” Soap, made by Tiktok chef/artist turned soapy influencer Debra Glaze, CEO of BirdsofvalhallaTM.
“The Raven” is a narrative poem by American writer Edgar Allan Poe. First published in January 1845, the poem is often noted for its musicality, stylized language, and supernatural atmosphere. It tells of a talking raven’s mysterious visit to a distraught lover, tracing the man’s slow descent into madness; Wikipedia

What is the setting of the Raven? A cold, dreary, bleak December night, at the home of the narrator – fire is dying – he is looking over books. The living space seems lonely. This is the inspiration for the soap!
In a tall tower by the sea, you sit in a darkened library at night while the fireplace roars. Somewhere, you smell the juicy red berries from the pie in the kitchen. There’s a touch of classic amber, patchouli and vanilla in the air.

Our Edgar Allen Poe soap is inspired by the famous poem- you know the one; with the raven and the still beating heart. That’s why there is one crystal carving of each atop these generous 7-8 oz soaps.

You will love the ethical mica glitter by Mad Micas, the swirl of jet black activated charcoal and the blood red of Trial by Fire Mica by Nurture Soap. Stamped in glittering violet is our throwback logo from when we were New Valhalla Soap. https://www.birdsofvalhalla.com/products/poe-crystal-soap?utm_content=ios&utm_medium=product-links&utm_source=copyToPasteboard

These $35 chonky bars of dark beauty and mystery sold out in 8 minutes flat. We made a few more due to demand and those sold in 10 minutes flat. We hope to get more raven skulls to make you all more ASAP in time for spooky season.
$35 for a soap seems like a lot but they clearly are a great value to the following at BoV. Happy early Spooky Season to you!
